hi all

if i write

he said " hello "

there seems to be a problem if line break

i may obtain :

and then unfortunately he said "
 hello "

i know the opening " symbol needs a nb space as said on MArc's links

but i used to believe that texmacs would make what is necessary for the nbsp

for example i write 

then he opened the door ; she was there

with normal spaces before and after ;

i can verify that texmacs takes the space before ; as if it was a non 
breakable space so i dont have to mind for that, texmacs makes the typography

but in the case of " symbol clearly it does not work...

how can i insert manually a nbsp ?
