This \0 seems suspicious. Please check your ~/.reducerc; does it contain

if getenv("TEXMACS_REDUCE_PATH") then load tmprint

without extra characters?

The module compiled by psl reduce is

.../pslbuild/i686-pc-linux-gnu/red/tmprint.b

(of course, you'll have something different instead of i686-pc-linux-gnu).
