Hello,
I just installed the cygwin texmacs, version 1.0.7.15, and I keep getting  
the following error message:

/usr/share/TeXmacs/progs/texmacs/texmacs/tm-files.scm:207:3 While  
evaluating arguments to path->buffer in expression (path->buffer name):
/usr/share/TeXmacs/progs/texmacs/texmacs/tm-files.scm:207:3 Unbound  
variable name

Inspecting the referenced file tm-files.scm, I found in lines 205 through  
207:

(tm-define (get-name-buffer-path p)
  (deprecated-function "get-name-buffer-path" "path->buffer")
  (path->buffer name))

I changed the argument "p" in line 205 to "name", and the error message  
appears to have gone away.
