Hi,

after some searching I found the insert footnote menu item.
 I expect to find it in the "Insert" menu. But it is not there, it is 
in the "Format --> Insertion" menu. It is so unintuitive.

Similarly, why to insert an image is done through the Insert menu, while 
a floating image is inserted through the Format menu?

Is that intentional? And why? To me it seems uneasy to have to search 
for things were I do not expect they should be. Is it only a problem of 
mine.
