Pressing enter did indeed do the trick...such a little thing! Thank you both for your replies, especially you Miguel.

I am getting a whole host of interesting errors now when I update. The following is generated in the Bibliography section:

<wrong-type-arg|#f|Wrong type (expecting ~A): ~S|<"pair"|Bernhard Beckert and
Reiner H\\"ahnle and Peter H. Schmitt>|<"Bernhard\ Beckert\ and\ Reiner\ H\\\\\\"ahnle\ and\ Peter\ H.\ Schmitt">>

I am guessing something is wrong with the formatting of my BibTex file here...will investigate. If anyone has any quick insights, that would be very helpful as well :)

Again, thanks!

I attempt to cite this in my .tm file using Insert->Link->Citation->Visible, resulting in: <cite|KeYBook2007>.

Did you press enter after typing KeYBook2007 ? This activates the tag. If you add the citation before adding the bibliography you should see something like [?] replacing the <cite|KeYBook2007> after pressing enter.

Sorry if it's silly and you did press enter, but obvious things are not so obvious when one is learning and you don't mention anything about this. ;)

Finally, I add a Bibliography at the bottom with the following settings:
Aux: bib
style: tm-plain
File-name: literature.bib (I have also tried removing the .bib extension to no effect)

When I finally update everything, nothing happens. The citation remains as <cite|KeYBook2007>, and the bibliography section remains empty.

What am I doing wrong here? Thank you very much in advance for any help!

Everything seems fine.
