The responsibility falls with texmacs for wrongly using the ps2write target which just happened to work with gs8 instead of the correct eps2write target which does not exist with gs8 and probably still does not exist with gs9

I'm being slightly ironic.

IIRC Joris refused the patch as it creates a dependency on ImageMagik - otherwise I would commit it.
