Modify its inc- macro so that IF new-max-ctr is exceeded by the- counter then store the new value in new-max-ctr and also as a label.
If during this comparison new-max-ctr is not defined then fall back to zero but also fetch the label value using the reference macro which would be the previous final max value and put this in max-ctr
Also do this when retreiving the Max ctr.
I have some macros to do a similar thing I can fetch out if needed.
Hi,
Does anyone know how to get the max value took by a given counter in a
whole buffer ?
Best regards.
