Sure, if someone wants to complete the graphical markup of TeXmacs
so that we can directly import SVG, then that would be great.
However, all there are always to sides to the problem:
you do not only have to ensure that the rendering is done well inside TeXmacs,
but also that everything is exported as it should to Postscript / Pdf.
It is often the second problem which is the most difficult one.
For instance, TeXmacs supports alpha rendering, but I still do not
know how to generate the corresponding Postscript / Pdf.

We are using such converters to postscript in order to render SVG images.
