This looks like a problem with the pipes reading and writing to the process. Try compiling again with the configure option --enable-qtpipes.

This only happens when a session is open, and the CPU use goes down when I

More problems...
So, I failed to install texmacs using Macports, but I installed qt4-mac.
After this, my old, self-compiled, texmacs binary does run.
But it shows exactly the same problem as the downloaded TeXmacs app:
it is eating lots of CPU - all the time at ~130%.

What's going on?

Hi,

I'm using TeXmacs on OSX 10.8.4 - Mountain Lion.
Today I uninstalled Macports, without thinking, and now my self-compiled texmacs
doesn't work. (macports contained all the libraries needed for compilation and run)

But, I still have the TeXmacs app I downloaded...
However, when I run that, everything seems to work fine, except that TeXmacs continually takes 130% of my CPU. I'm using TeXmacs 1.0.7.19.
What is it doing?

I attached a sample of the process.... if that tells anyone something...

Michael
