Hi all,
Today, octave-3.x is very stable; however, there is some problem for TwXmacs with
octave plugin, especially the picture generation.
Here my tip for using octve within TeXmacs. In brief, there are no thing change about
native octave plot functions:
detect the octave-3.x, append its library, and use "show()" to generate the embeded
picture within TeXmacs. In other words, this is not necessary to duplicate or modify
the plot functions in TeXmacs installed directory.
show() is in subdirectory, "octave/plot"; you can modify the size of picture suit for your
need.
Details references the demo, 1.demo.
Test platform: 64-linux, octave-3.6.4, TeXmacs-1.0.7.19
Best wishes,
cch
