Click on the Greek letter submenu -- it is available in the toolbar. Hover mouse over the letter and wait for tooltip. Click on the letter, use the key shortcut in the future.

The trouble is that I don't know what letter it is.

When I put the cursor after earlier entered \Theta, in the statusbar I see only the Greek letter and no hint which English letter it corresponds to.

Please improve TeXmacs in this aspect.
