yes I fear it. It was Mr poulain who gave the clue but I can't find
it anymore in the mailing list. I changed defun to setq (only the word defun) but I guess you must verify if you got lisp library because sometimes that doesn't work for me on a 61 bits. It 's quite a tricky thing ;) Le 13/02/2014 16:17, Poul Riis a

Michael Shea <address@hidden> writes:
This is a known error with
recent versions of Maxima and Texmacs. I don't know the
whole details, but Maxima changed something and so far the
Texmacs team has not responded patching the plugin. I have
Maxima 5.28.0 working fine with Windows though.
Thank you for the
answer. Do you know if this known error is just neglected or
if someone is working on it?

weeks ago the clue was given
to work on linux: in pluging lisp texmacs-maxima.lisp line 27
change defun by setq
Try if it works on windows
regards
Henri
It does not.
Can you be more specific as
to which line you mean. Line number 27 in my
texmacs-maxima.lisp file reads
(defun tex-stripdollar (x)
Line numbering might be
different from the linux version?
