Hi,

The cmake step is necessary to produce the config.h. This will produce code which depends on the target system. Without this you cannot compile the actual code.

Best,
Alexandre.

Hi

I have been gathering around

1st I donwloaded the executables and installed them
2nd i tried to run gnuplot and the debugger said it couldnt launch the shell
3d i tried to compile the shell with make and said didnt find the TeXmacs\src
\System directory with config.h
4th i download the src version and located this directory but it contains only
config.h.cmake so i guess some compilation is needed to generate config.h as
far as it is not available directly.

So if i havent lost anything i need to generate config.h with some program
called cmake, then compile shell with make and then hopefully gnuplot may work
or the debugger will mark next error.

Uff is it really necesary? or i can obtain both files directly. As far as i
know a compiled file (with make) should be autonomous...

Any help and guidance would be really appreciated

Cheers
