Dear Marten,
the LaTeX equivalent \iint does not seem to be recognized. The double
integral is still available from the pull-down menu while in math mode (the
icon of which is a big sum sign), or you can use the keyboard shortcut while
in math mode: Shift-F5 Shift-I Shift-I,
