I have been thinking a lot about how TeXmacs might be useful in math education, perhaps starting in Middle School level (collège pour les Français). I am working on a paper to describe my vision, but I need to know if TeXmacs is or can easily be modified to work as a web app. 

Many middle and high schools are loaning kids Macbooks, which while very good laptops, are very expensive for the school district as compared to Chromebooks, which can do anything most students at this level need. However, without a Web app, Texmacs on a Chromebook would not work.
