Dear Huang:

I'm sorry that what you said is too difficult that I didn't understand. I don't know how to code "Shell".

Could you kindly explain exactly what steps I should do?

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Shelby Chen

With Mac user,
you can chech what PATH variable is:

shell> export

And  you can also find the .bash_profile at the top of user folder:

shell> ls -a

"-a" used to list all the hidden files

Now append your Maxima binary folder name into PATH variable:

shell> vi .bash_profile

after that

shell> source .bash_profile

or restart OS to activate the new setting

Dear PDS and texmacs users:

Then, may I ask for some screenshot about how you type that path in texmacs?

Also, if there is anyone can tell me which path should I use to activate maxima in texmacs?

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Shelby Chen
