Hi Tutun,

TeXmacs is _not_ a front-end to LaTeX : Keyboard input of math works
differently. Take a look at Help->manula>Mathematical formulas. Some "hybrid"
Latex-like commands are made available in TeXmacs but this mechanism does not
accept the exact latex syntax you are using (Search the documentation for
"Hybrid commands").
The bottom line is there are several way for entering a vector r in texmacs:
- "in Latex style" (using hybrid command) you should type \vect enter r.
- through the menu (when in math mode) Insert->Accent above-> Vector
- using the keyboard shortcut Alt-Shift-V.
Best,
Philippe
PS are your other issues solved?
