Dear Shelby,You are welcome. I wish the “busy” issue was solved for TeXmacs opened via TeXmacs.app but I do not have sufficient knowledge to debug what exactly is the problem. Some time ago Karl Hegbloom kindly provided some tips about what might be the reason, but it was not possible (for me) to get to the root of the problem.I hope the developers / hackers around here give it another try now, since it’s already two of su “complaining” ;-).Best,Peter.On 27 Jan 2018, at 13:35, Shelby Hui-Jun Chen <address@hidden> wrote:Dear Peter:Thank you so much! Have you tried to launch TeXmacs from the commnad line instead of double clicking the TeXmacs.app? I remember some time ago I had the problem you describe with Mathematica or Maxima sessions, but everything worked if TeXmacs was run from the command line.
The probable conclusion of the differences in behavior was that the environments are somehow different in the two cases...
Cheers,
Peter
