There are really many shortcuts in texmacs that can be used to achieve one thing.
Just after I wrote the previous email, I found that I can press Alt+l and then < to obtain a self-ajusting <> delimiters.
Cheers,

Thank you for replying.I test what you suggest in Linux, it does not work. Thank you for sharing this.In the past, it seems I did not have difficulty in getting self-adjusting <> delimiters because I found many of them in the old documents written by me.I did not remember how I obtained those in the past. Maybe I did use the <+tabs+tabs... and I just forgot it. Maybe I was using Alt+shift+<, which, according to the general rule of texmacs, should give non-self-adjusting delimiters.Anyway this is a minor issue, and self-adjusting <> delimiters are not very often used in practice since <> is usually not intended to be delimiters. Finally I want to say that Texmacs is really an excellent scientific editors that makes writing mathematical documents easy, efficient, and enjoyable.During my 11 years of using it, I wrote more than 1000 pages of documents using texmacs.Someday I wold write a long post to summarize my 11 years of using texmacs. Thank Joris van der Hoeven and contributors of texmacs for providing a so wonderful tool.Cheers,Youjun HuOn Fri, Sep 14, 2018 at 12:28 AM Basile Audoly <address@hidden> wrote:Or you can press opening-parenthesis esc tab esc tab esc tab (on a Mac).BasileLe 14 sept. 2018 à 02:35, Youjun Hu <address@hidden> a écrit :Finally got it. However, I found I can not obtain self-adjusting <> delimiters by any possible means I know.
I can only get small <> delimiters by using Shift+Alt+<
Could someone help?
I have been using Texmacs every day for more than 10 years. It seems I did not have this problem several years ago.Cheers,Youjun Hu
