You need to activate the assign tag. Just press enter with the curson in the field where the argument “4” is. This will make the tag disappear and from that moment the second tag should work. To edit the now invisible assign tag just position yourself on its left and press backspace.

<assign|nr-pages|4>

then '\' to have :

<nr-pages>

then 'enter'

you should get 4,

best.

how can I get a numbering of pages where my first page is numbered 2  etc....?

thanks in advance
