hi

i am searching in the help documents where i can find information about "free variables"

i mean : i would like to use a free numerotation that would not have formatting attribute like enumerations

say :

hi (1) today we study functions

(2) cnqkslcnsqjocsmqjcslqncklasjopcslknqlkncsqqsd

(3) cnqkjlcnsqklcnsqkl see (2)

and so on

do i have to create a new variable for each "item" (say, paragraph)

i dont know if my request is clear...
