Hello, 

I have TeXmacs-1.99.12.app and Maxima-5.43.0-VTK-macos.dmg installed on Mac OS Mojave and have trouble making tm see maxima.  Played around with init-maxima.scm but to no avail.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is a fix for newer Maxima. Ignore it or upgrade your Maxima.
