hi
now ia have understood that i want for each of my documents some precize width (say 1.5cm) in document/page/margins, and some size of the font of the document (say 12pt).
is it possible to create a style "vinz" where this parameters are fit as i want ?
and, since i take the thematic of style, in which part of the help can i find the means for my own style to have my definitions not in intalic etc. ?

In the dialog where you found the checkbox you can also set the margins via some input field, non?

by creating my own style for example ? are the size of margins a parameter of a style ?

You need to tell TeXmacs that you want margins also on screen, there is an option in the page format dialog. By defaults margin are not shown to save screen space.
