Hi Normand,

Sorry for the late reply.

This seems to be a font problem.
I have seen it a few times on Macs on which TeXmacs was just newly installed.
On computers to which I had access, the bug mysteriously disappeared after a 
few runs,
which makes it very hard to debug.

Could you tell me whether you installed any LaTeX type of software on
your computer _before_ installing TeXmacs?
