Hi Philip,

With the default font selector, you cannot select a special font
for mathematics: the same font is used for text and mathematics,
although you may hack the 'math' tag to use another font.

Using 'Edit -> Preferences -> Other -> Advanced font customization',
the font selector contains various extra toggles and fields for
the selection of more complex customized fonts. In particular,
this allows you to select a separate font for mathematics.

More precisely, you still select a single font,
but the font declines into a distinct font inside mathematics.
In particular, if you use an advanced font of this type,
but locally change your font, then your math font will
locally change as well.

Best wishes, --Joris
