yes the document/style was not on Article/Texmacs/tmarticle like all my .tm files

and putting it again has solved my problem

Did you try to change textwidth? Anyway I think you have activated package on this file which specify margins like TeX (have you converted the document from TeX?), maybe if you remove the package you will be able to access the standard dialog.

before i could put 1.5cm left and right and 2.5cm top and bottom and it used to work well

but now, see the picture, the right margin is really too much large, and i dont understand how to modify it ; i have tried to change some values in some boxes but the result was non consistent

i typed "marges" in  the help menu it related me 3 pages of the help, non of them explaining the way this new "margin" menu works
