Hi Vincent,

I think that you misread Basile's reply.
He was talking about '| Shift+Tab'.
This produces the 'divides' relation symbol with
spacing before and behind.

The problem with the '|' symbol is that its meaning
is heavily overloaded in mathematics ('divides',
'such that', function restriction, absolute values, etc.).
With 'Tab' you can cycle among the various possibilities,
and this affects the spacing and the size of the bar.
Of course, I can't guarantee that a particular font will
always give what you want.
