- Subject: The real reason for requiring LaTeX submissions in academia?
- Date: Sat, 8 May 2021 06:13:59 -0400
Hello,
Maybe it is because LaTeX is used as a filter to discourage non-serious
submissions to conferences and journals?
If this is the real reason, then the fact that TeXmacs is easier to learn and
more pleasant to use is actually a problem.
Is this the real reason for not accepting TeXmacs submissions (i.e., without
exporting to LaTeX)?
Amir
