I have already reduced the margins in agreement with my publisher. 

However, I would like to know how you adjust the interline and interparagraph spacing throughout the entire document. This idea interests me.

I still think you can gain a bit more by tweaking the interline and interparagraph spacing or the margins. A very small change will give substantial reduction.
