I do not know how to do what is shown in the video, but you can get the same effect with "Draw over selection" (menu Insert -> Image).
I did not figure out either how to move an image with the mouse, as shown at approximately 3:20 :-)

P.S. I also attempted the same process with the latest release of Mogan, but
the insertion of a PDF file is no longer available. However, it still didn't
work with a PNG file either.
