This is probably a question for Henri!

How can I change the properties of a part of a curve? For example, suppose we have some smooth curve passing through (2,-1) .. (0,0) .. (2,1) and I would like to
color the part (2,-1) .. (0,0) as read and the remainder (0,0) .. (2,1) as blue. It is possible?

You can use several pieces of curves having different
colors. But it will not automatically maintain the derivatives
at the junction points. Currently, a real implementation
of genuine composite curves is missing, but we thought
about that (& I just added your example of multi-colored
curves to my task/ideas list :-).

Best, Henri
