Probably something happened but it's hardly noticeable if you don't know
where to look. In the bottom line of the window (footer) appears:
Search word in the documentation:
And there is where you type 'backslash' (without the '').
Most of the questions that TeXmacs asks us are there. Fortunately there is
a way to make them more evident. Go to Edit -> Preferences -> Interactive
questions -> In popup windows.
