i wanted to say that i had a lot of problems in order to install texmacs under mac os X tiger, certainly because i had sveral installtions of latex on the hard drive; without the help of martin Costalbel it woulad never have been possible

since that i erased my hard drive, installer properly mac os X Leopard (including x11), with Xcode, and then with 3 instructions on fink commander texmacs was well isntalled.

my conclusion was: it is finally very easy to instal texmacs (when the hard drive is “clean"), at the contrary to what i thougt

but i am still dreaming of an even more simple installation: you double click on something and the programm isntalls itself

I don't speak german anymore, so i agree with you Ingolf : let's sepak
english( or try so).

I have to add that Vincent speaks a really good german, even when he
isn't at the BierGarten during octoberfest.

moi aussi j'ai fait du neuf

j'ai érasé entièremnet le disque dur,j'ai réinstlalé
proprement mac os X Léopard, (incluant x11) puis les xcode,
puis fink

ensuite j'ai choisi d'instaler les binary (qui incluent
apparemment une distribution lateX)

et je peux dire que, partant d'un disque propre,
l'installation de texmacs est finalement très facile

j'ai tellement eu de diffuclutés autrefois, sur mon tiger avec
plein de versions latex mal installées que je tenais à donner
ce point de vue plus positif !
