then it is written
- On décompresser l’archive *professor.zip*. - On obtient un répertoire *professor/* à placer dans son*texmf/tex/latex/*. - On place les fichiers mp dans son *texmf/metapost/*.
Then copy all the *.cfg et *.sty file in ~/texmf/tex/latex/professor
and the *.mp files in ~/texmf/metapost

Ok
i have now
- a folder "professor"
- a folder "dlf_mp"
- a folder "geometrysyr16"
- a file "tableauVariation.mp"

i have to put them in texmf/tex/latex/

The problem is: i have 2 folders "texmf/" on my hard drive
but none of them contains any folder called "tex/"

but near "texmf" there is a folder called "texmf-dist", and i have found in it "tex/latex"

i hope it will work

i have a friend in Paris, coming from taïwan
he sometimes explains me concepts of chinese poetic ideogramms
when he writes me mails i think to theses long moments, spended to install Tex things
and i suddenly have the sensation that chinese is a very easyly understable language. :-)

- On lance /texhash/.
Perhaps it's not necessary under mac/OS but do so by :
1- opening a terminal (it should be called Darwin)
2- typing : texhash (then enter)
that's it.

unfortunately the only thing i get is "Package 'professor' not declared"

here i find some explanations
but not correspounding to what i am looking for

maybe i can ask for help on the forum here
i don' t want to disturb here
