The ket will not export to tex.

This is perfectly normal, since 'ket' is not defined in the document.
I am not sure what happens to the include if the file is present.
Maybe we indeed have to do something, also when you provide your
own style packages.

However, this is power usage: a simple remedy is to simply put
your macros in the preamble.
