I choose my margins for each document ; in fact i created different types of documents (lecture notes, exam, exercises ...) with different margins.

sorry for the beginners questions
how is it possible to parameter the default margins of a texmacs document ?
in the "page" menu i can select, for the margins, betwen "auto" or... a number, i take 1cm for example
(why are there "left margin for odd pages" and "right margin for odd pages" and "left margins for even pages" but not "right margins for even pages" ?)
but if i want this margin for all my documents... ?
i find the default margin really too large
