Sorry for yet another reply, but some other things crossed my mind:

What would you like to happen with TeXmacs?

* three most important point

- Better collaborative editing of documents (maybe use "google/apache wave"
source code for waves=documents in texmacs or produce a texmacs plugin for
wave (along the lines of the latex plugin that was present in google wave for
inclusion of mathematics?))
- Better support of native platform functionality - e.g. a native and out of
the box version control -- under OS X that would be a) Mac OS X 10.7's
versions support b) when one has Xcode installed, there is svn installation
present in the system. LyX can use this out of the box. TeXmacs could/should
do the same.)
- use gnustep instead of QT ;-)
Cheers,
Peter.
