I just tried with three different computers on my home network :
a macbook air and a macbook both under MacOS 10.7.5, a mac mini under MacOS
10.9.2
TeXmacs 1.99.1 on each of them.
Remote <\hlink> only works with the (older) macbook.
Maybe a difference in the network settings, but I cannot find out what it
is...

This is strange; I just tried your file with the current SVN version,

and everything works fine. Which version of TeXmacs do you use?

In any case, it seems that the bug has been fixed...
