I have to add something : typing \enumerate opens an enumerate environment, with no specific alpha item. In the menu, choosing alpha doesn't produce anything ...

the experimental package dosn't launch in non of my ubuntus (15.10 and 16.04). The most recent tar.gz doesn't lauch in 15.10 but, ô miracle !, it launches in ubuntu 16.10 ,but i can't use Alt+e for enumeration, Ctrl+X for cut and so on ...

So i decided to compile texmacs in ubuntu 16.10. It compiles, launches ... and the same behaviour occurs : can't use keyboard shortcuts to enumerate, itemize, save, cut copy for example ...

So, in my ubuntu 16.04, texmacs doesn't work at all.

Do you have any idea of what i have to do to get the shortcuts ?
