Hi,

Open the Terminal.app, type /Applications/TeXmacs-1.99.6.app/Contents/MacOS/TeXmacs (replacing the TeXmacs version according to the one you have installed) and press Enter.

Cheers,
Peter

Hi Shelby,

Have you tried to launch TeXmacs from the commnad line instead of double clicking the TeXmacs.app? I remember some time ago I had the problem you describe with Mathematica or Maxima sessions, but everything worked if TeXmacs was run from the command line.

The probable conclusion of the differences in behavior was that the environments are somehow different in the two cases...

Cheers,
Peter
