Dear Texmacs users
I have worked with Texmacs in the Ubuntu environment for many years. Now, I have installed Ubuntu 18.04 in my notebook Lenovo x200 and tried many times to install TeXmacs without success
1- I downloaded the tar.gz package from Texmacs site, unpacked it as recommended, issued the export commands; but the command texmacs & resulted in "no command texmacs"
2- then I downloaded the binary .deb file (also from Texmacs site) but failed because of several dependencies I could not install, apparently because they are not int the repository.
Any help is very wellcome
