Indeed, a very good idea. 
I’m wondering if it is really needed to put the blog in the svn. 

In my opinion it would be just fine if it is hosted on github. There are no advantage to put it on svn and mirror on github. 

svn for TeXmacs’ source code makes sense to me, since essentially the program is mostly developed single handedly by Joris (other people contribute, of course, but as far as I know he is the only one capable of mastering it all). 

However using svn for side projects seems unnecessarily complicate the setup.

Good idea, I don't know texmacs a lot but I like is wisiwig interface.

I am interested in examples about creating simple doc, content table, insertion of pages in the doc...
