Hi,

TeXmacs-0.3.5.7, which has just been released, comes with new support
for dictionaries for foreign languages. This should make it easier
to maintain up to date versions of already supported languages and
to add new languages.

In the 'langs/natural/dic' directory of the binary distribution,
you will find the lists of words in english with their translations,
as usual. In the 'langs/natural/miss' directory, you will find
the list of missing translation of already supported languages.
Don't hesitate to send me lists of missing translations or
improvements of existing ones. Such lists may be incomplete,
so that someone else may finish it.

Andrey Grozin also developed a nice tool in Python for writing and
maintaining dictionaries: download

http://www.texmacs.org/Data/dictool.py.gz

gunzip it, make it executable and run the program.
Support for different types of fonts is under development.

Best regards,

Joris van der Hoeven
