Hi All from a new addition to the list.
I have a couple of questions, but first, CONGRATULATIONS on a fantastic
piece of software!!!
Q1. Exporting a TeXmacs document to Postscript produces a ps file using
Type 3 fonts. When turning the file into a pdf file this has two
disadvantages: (1) the pdf file is processed incorrectly by xpdf; (2)
AcroRead renders it, but fonts do not look as good as they do when TYpe 1
fonts are used (e.g. by generating a similar document via latex/dvipdfm).
Is this anything that can be addressed in a future version? Am I missing
something? THe inability to generate good-looking pdf files is somewhat
serious.
Q2. How exactly should I interpret the units in the "interline spacing"
menu option?
Thanks!
MArciano.
