You may use the omit-proof.tm package attached to this message.

Copy it to your ~/.TeXmacs/packages/ directory to see it appear in the
"Document->Use package" menu.

This solution is not ideal because pressing backspace while the cursor
if after a proof, will move the cursor to the hidden argument (which
will cause the apparition of a nasty green caret).

Joris: would it be possible to move the caret to the last visible and
editable parameter?
