Unlikely since I am using that version myself.

I just tested my snippet to work as expected with a clean (no
~/.TeXmacs) official 1.0.1.4 release.

I cannot say about 1.0.1.6 since it is still compiling here.

I guess you should send your my-init-texmacs.scm.
