Hi,

Sorry to bother with a newbie question. I have cygwin running on XP. I
downloaded texmacs and also all the required libraries as mentioned on the
webpage. I could not fine libguile14 and texmf in the cygwin package list so
I was unable to download and install them though I installed all other
availabe guile and tetex packages.

I had problems in compiling. The warning/error messages I got were:

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

./configure warnings

1. iconv was not found, HTML import may crash
2. using g++ 3.*, optimize without inline by default
3. disaling debugging

make errors:

Infile included from Typeset/Graphics/curve.cpp:15:
Typeset/Graphics/math_util.hpp:18: error: 'const double infinity' redeclared
as different kind of symbol
/usr/include/math.h:123: error: previous declaration of 'double infinity()'
make[1]: ***[Objects/curve.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '~/Texmacs-1.0.9-src/src
make: ***[TEXMACS] Error 2

make install error

cp: cannot stat 'Texmacs/bin/texmacs.bin': No such file or directory
make: ***[INSTALL] Error 1

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

What mistake am I making? And why is the texmacs.bin file missing?

Thanks,

Shatadal.
