I recommend to take a look at the header-generic.ts and header-article.ts
style packages (to load the first one, type "C-x C-f header-generic.ts
return").
When modifying the odd-page-text and even-page-text macros from
header-article.ts and copying&pasting the modified definition at the start
of your document (or in a personal style package which you include),
you should be able to do what you want.
