just a few suggestions - it *might* help.
in edit/preference/printer/fonttype - try changing the font type and
export again and see. For me True Type works best. True Type was not
the default.
try upgrading to adobe acrobat reader 7.0. Although acrobat reader 6
was a step backward from 5.0 (IMO) reader 7.0 is a step forward (IMO
again). It's a little faster.
