Hi there,

I remember that nice feature in WordPerfect: you could place a tag inside a file that would always automatically show the full path of the file in printouts. That way, if you found some old printout somewhere in the office, you had a fairly good chance to locate it on the server. (The tag was even part of many of our templates, so most of the standard documents contained it by default in some unobtrusive position and small font.)

Is the same thing possible in TeXmacs?

Thanks,
Norbert

The TeXmacs Scheme primitive (get-name-buffer) does exactly
what you want . Thus it should be easy to write a TeXmacs macro
that calls this routine (using the "<extern>" construct).

Thanks for the hint. Unfortunately, my experience with TeXmacs does not suffice to use this information. :-(

My first try so far was
<extern|get-name-buffer>
which gives me "insecure script" or - if I switch off security - "?"

Is there any special trick about it?

Is get-name-buffer itself insecure by principle or do I use it in the wrong way?
Thanks for help!
